For nearly 12 years, passengers have chosen this railroad as their first choice when touring the verdant Verde Valley, whatever the reason or time of year. The tour throughout the canyon provides views that are simply inaccessible by any other means. Federally protected forests provide the lush backdrop to a crystal blue-green river, majestic rock formations and pristine landscape. However, during the winter season there is a natural serenity that wraps itself warmly around passengers - it is apparent that the canyon is set to begin a gentle slumber - a time to revitalize and renew. This sense of serenity provides the magical setting for a holiday gathering. Toasts of good cheer, embraces between friends and families, and wishes for success are genuinely extended amidst these enchanted surroundings.
