Pocket Pillow

Since I travel very lightly, I have taken to bringing along an empty pillow case and stuffing if with a sweater or a fleece pullover, to use as a pillow when traveling in coach. I have tried every manner of inflatable pillows, as well as herbal neck pillows and the like, and I still prefer my idea, both for its space saving ability and its comfort.

However, someone recently sent me the Pocket Pillow, and I thought I would give it a try. Pocket Pillow is an empty pillow sack, made of some nice material, sort of fleecy, that folds up into just about nothing and can just be stuffed into a pocket or other small space. When ready to rest, you just fill it with appropriate clothing, such as a sweater or something else soft.

Now, this is basically what I have been doing with my old pillow case. Yet, this somehow seems more comfortable. I don't know if it is the material of the sack, or just the fact that I am now using a "travel product," but I like this Pocket Pillow and have gotten rid of the old pillow case.

The Pocket Pillow is $7.85 and is available at Magellan's Travel Supplies. If you travel as much as I do, check out Magellan's Catalog.
